i ♥ faces ~ week 13 - my friend and i

Here is my weekly entry for the www.iheartfaces.com contest this week. The theme this week is “my friend and I". This week I thought I'd introduce you to my youngest son, David, and his favorite friend, Dana. They have been best buddies since they were born. David loves Dana so much that he even refers to her as "my Dana". Here's a picture I snapped last December of the two of them riding their bikes down the cold and slushy street. Not even the bitter cold can stop these two!

My other i faces entries:
week 12 ~ pouting *4th place
week 11 ~ no flash
week 10 ~ green
week 9 ~ creative crop *8th place

This is such a great shot! I love the color - wow! And the action and emotion that you captured is so nice! Were you running backwards down the street or something?!?! LOL!

wow! Dana's a star! I'm sure the kids feel like they could take on the Papparazzi because we've always got a camera trained on them.

YES -- she WAS running down the street backwards...sometime I'll have to post some pics of her in action...she's totally willing to sacrifice herself for the shot! :)
