i ♥ faces ~ week 16 - reflection

Here is my weekly entry for the www.iheartfaces.com contest this week. The theme this week is “reflection". I really wanted to go out and capture a really great reflection in water, but that just wasn't going to happen for me this week, so I decided to enter this picture that I took of my daughter a few months ago getting her very first "real" haircut. I had always just trimmed it, but she decided she wanted to go a lot shorter, so we went to a real "beauty parlor" and made a girls day out of it. She was so excited about it...

My other i faces entries:
week 14 ~ self portrait
week 13 ~ my friend and i
week 12 ~ pouting *4th place
week 11 ~ no flash
week 10 ~ green
week 9 ~ creative crop *8th place

That is a great shot! I love the way the stylist's head is tilted as she's holding the hair and deciding what to do. And your daughter looks like she's about to pop with anticipation of what's coming next. Very cool!

What a great picture. my girls love to have there hair cut as do I. She looks like she is having a great time. I agree with the above comments - the colors are so vibrant. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a great comment! We are blessed with three beautiful girls. She is our most feisty, so this picture is a rarity (her being so calm.) It was amazing I got that moment on camera.

oh what a great shot! :-) I love the pretty vibrant colors and that mirror -- I am just so impressed! my pictures will not come out nearly this clear and crisp (is it my camera or my focusing?)
