i ♥ faces ~ week 17 - hats

Here is my weekly entry for the www.iheartfaces.com contest this week. The theme this week is “hats". This week I had envisioned going to the goodwill and finding some really cool sun hats and then going to a beauiful field (that would just magically appear by the side of the road since I have no idea where such a field exists nearby) and snapping some fun pictures of my daughter, but of course, there was no time for that so I had to sift through my photos to find one that would fit the theme this week.

It surely won't be the most original photo, but hopefully I'll get points for cuteness! This is a picture of my sweet little boy that I took on my oldest son's first little league practice of the year. My little Davie wanted to wear his baseball cap too. Man!... I love this kid.

My other i faces entries:
week 16 ~ reflection
week 15 ~ self portrait
week 13 ~ my friend and i
week 12 ~ pouting *4th place
week 11 ~ no flash
week 10 ~ green
week 9 ~ creative crop *8th place

Yes, you have cuteness wrapped up with this gem! Isn't it sweet how little siblings want to mimic their older brother or sister? Absolutely wonderful image!

Wow.. you caught a lot of life in that picture! Bright eyes, sweet smile, and he looks like he's doffing his hat to the crowd after hitting a home run. Which is what YOU hit with this pic! Awesome! Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog, too!

What beautiful eyes he has! I really love this picture. It really captures how much he wants to be like the "big" leagues, especially the way he is handling the cap just like the older boys do it.
